Every Lucky Theory order ships in a slim gift-ready box.

All charms are made from a brass base with a PVD plating — either 14K gold-tone or silver-tone finish.

The chains are sterling silver or gold-tone with a lobster clasp and extender.

Yes. All Lucky Theory charms are nickel-free and hypoallergenic. We specifically avoided nickel in the base material and plating process for people with metal sensitivities.

PVD (Physical Vapour Deposition) plating is significantly more durable than standard gold or silver plating — it's the same process used in high-quality watchmaking. With normal daily wear, the finish should last for years, not months.

That said, prolonged exposure to harsh chemicals (chlorinated pools, bleach, perfume applied directly) will accelerate wear. 

Enamel variants have coloured enamel fill applied to the charm's recess. The colour is vivid and opaque. The feel is tactile — smooth but solid.

Crystal variants are set with cubic zirconia stones in a pavé arrangement. They catch the light and sparkle. The look is dressier and more minimal.

Neither is "better" — it's purely a matter of which aesthetic feels more you.

Most charms measure approximately 17–22mm at their widest point. They're designed to sit comfortably between your collarbone and sternum on a standard necklace length — noticeable but not oversized.

Yes — our charms all use a standard lobster clasp fitting that's compatible with any chain. You can slide multiple charms onto a single chain, or wear one charm on each of several chains layered together.

Most people find 2–3 charms on a single chain to be the sweet spot before it starts to feel crowded.

Our charms are safe for daily wear, including brief contact with water — showering, rain, accidental splashes. If you get it wet, pat it dry promptly.

We'd recommend removing your charm before: prolonged swimming (especially in chlorinated or saltwater), bathing, or exercising if you sweat heavily. It's not that it can't handle it — it's that those are the situations that accelerate wear over time.

Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth after wearing. For a deeper clean, use a lightly dampened cloth with no soap and dry immediately. Don't use jewellery cleaning solutions, ultrasonic cleaners, or abrasive cloths — these can damage the plating and enamel.

For crystal variants, a dry soft cloth is all you need to keep the stones sparkling.

Store in the bag that comes with your order, in a dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid storing charms loose together — contact between metal pieces will cause scratching over time.

If you're storing multiple charms, keep them in individual bags or pouches.

• Perfume or hairspray applied directly to the charm (spray first, dress after)
• Lotions, sunscreen, or oils in contact with the plating
• Chlorinated pools, hot tubs, or saltwater for extended periods
• Harsh cleaning products or hand sanitisers
• Storing in a humid bathroom environment

We accept returns on unworn items within 30 days of delivery. The charm must be in its original condition and packaging.

To start a return, email us at luckytheory.shop@gmail.com with your order number and reason. We'll reply within 1 business day with return instructions. Return shipping is at the customer's cost unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.

That shouldn't happen — but if it does, we'll make it right immediately. Email us at luckytheory.shop@gmail.com with a photo of the damage and your order number. We'll send a replacement at no cost and organise a return label for the damaged item.

Please contact us within 7 days of delivery for damaged items.

Yes. If you'd like a different variant (for example, swapping Bloom Gold for Lumina Silver), we treat it as a return and new order. Return the original unworn item, and we'll refund you once received so you can place a new order for the style you want.

Email us to coordinate — we'll do our best to hold stock for you during the process.

Yes. Gift returns are handled the same way — the item must be unworn and in original packaging within 30 days of delivery. We'll issue a store credit rather than a refund to the original payment method, which the gift recipient can use toward any charm they'd prefer.
